Hi, I'm Morgan!

Thank you so much for viewing my work; I'm so honored that you are here.

I have been an elementary art teacher for eight years, and I am so proud to say that! Creating art alongside my students has been a great joy in my life, and ultimately, has given me the courage to share my personal work, which has become another great joy in my life!

I consider myself a multi-disciplinary artist, as I truly love creating art in all forms and all media. However, I cannot get enough of painting with watercolor and gouache, and I can never seem to paint enough flowers.

My work is heavily inspired by old texts, manuscripts, textiles, and scientific drawings and paintings of flora. However, it is also embedded with the incessant thoughts in my head, memories, music, books, poetry, films, nature, my friends and family, art in all forms from all people, etc. So, really, my art is inspired by... everything.

I live in Charleston, SC, with my husband, Ben, and am so happy to have finally found my way back to the Lowcountry after many years of traveling and moving from state to state. When I'm not teaching or painting, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, walking the beach, out on the boat, reading and journaling, and dabbling in new hobbies.
